1972 MKIV Triumph Spitfire for sale.
Please contact us for further details.
We have an amazing opportunity to re-commission an incredible garage find, the car is completely rust free top to bottom and has been very well preserved with its air still in the cross ply tyres and the plastic film on the doors. 52000 miles and only 2 previous owners. Finished in royal blue with good chrome work and panel gaps. The paint is original and very good with minor marks and dings as you'd expect from a 48 year old original car. The seats are perfect as is the dash and door cards, the carpets will need a clean but are also very good. The sills, floors, wings, boot floor etc are absolutely solid as a rock, it's quite incredible. The car was driven into a garage many years ago and there it remained until very recently, the engine turns freely and we are confident we will have it running over the weekend. A great recommissioning project that will be for sale very soon. Early enquiries are welcomed and encouraged as this car wont be with us for long
Celtic Classic Cars are delighted offer this very solid MGB Roadster for sale. Only 4 owner with good history and a full body and engine rebuild , with photos, in 1994 but only around 8000 miles since. Loads of paperwork and receipts including one for a reconditioned overdrive unit and engine rebuild.
This car has been owned by Tina, the previous owner for 13 years and she has always kept it garaged and maintained it very well using a local garage who understood the car. It has only been used rarely in the past few years which is why Tina decided to sell her. She called the car Mable.
MOT until November 2017 with no advisories. Nearly all MOT's since the rebuild verifying the low mileage since.
Obviously Tax Exempt now.
Very sweet engine with fully working Overdrive in 3rd and 4th and all electrics work as they should.
Has a new soft top with new header rail and seal. Wheels are now all silver having been rubbed down and repainted.
Paint is 8/10 in my opinion but there is no rust or rot and underneath is not a patchwork of different metal.
Interior is very nice and original and everything works as it should.
Comes with two sets of keys and a full V5.
I have a number of additional images to send or I am happy to take further photos of any areas if you PM me.
We are asking £5250 for this fantastic appreciating classic and will consider any part exchange for another Classic Car or Classic Motorbike.
Any inspection is more than welcome so if you want to arrange this or a viewing please contact us through our web site at www.celticclassiccars.co.uk
1978 MG Midget - 1 family owned from new with full history file including every MOT (NOW SOLD)
We are delighted to offer for sale this absalutly stunning 1978 MG Midget. The car was bought new on the 1st March 1978 by the wife of the gentleman we bought it from. It only passed to him on the sad death of his wife.
The history file is staggering with every MOT certificate from 1981 and also includes the original hand written reciept and Zeibart certificate. The car was bought from a local Cardiff garage and has remained in South Wales all its life and has always been garaged.
It was subjected to some restoration work in 1996 and a full respray. The paint work is immaculate. The interior is original and in great condition apart from one area where a mouse appears to have nibbled at the crash pad on the passenger side. The hood need one smal seam repaired on the passanger side window.
It drives superb and the doors shut with a reassuring thud. Spotless Minilight wheels and new tyres set the car off really well.
A new MOT was put on the car in early September with no advisiries.
A fantastic car that will sell itself. Any inspection is welcomed.
About this car: 1972 low mileage, low owner triumph Spitfire MKIV (
We are pleased to offer for sale this excellent 1973 MKIV Triumph Spitfire in British Racing Green. Recently recommisioned with a long list of new parts and a professional respray in the original colour.
Only three previous owners from new with the last owner having bought the car in 1982 before selling it to our client John in May 2014. The mileage shows as 47000 which although there is no documented history for the car, we believe to be genuine due to the condition and the way the car drives. The previous owner was unable to provide any further information other than she knew the car had low mileage.
This car was sold to a gentleman in the Midlands who found that the low ride of this classic and offset driving position was not for him so he sold it to us.
Since it has come back to us we have replaced the front brake discs, pads and calipers, the rear drive shafts including yolkes and flanges as well as front wheel bearings. The radiator has been professionally reconditioned and the car now drives as well as it looks.
Please contact us for more photos, information and to chat about this great car.

A 1979 Triumph Spitfire in very good condition. It's not a show car but could become one with some time and effort. It has a fully rebuilt front suspension, wire wheels with new tyres, new carpets, door cards and glove boxes, very good seats and a very good hood.
The engine runs like a watch with a fully working overdrive gearbox. Will need some cosmetic work in the future but could be used and enjoyed through the summer and worked on over the winter.

About this car: 1965 MK2 Triumph Spitfire (NOW SOLD)
A very nice MK2 Spifire with current MOT. Original wheels, good hood, original steering wheel and seats. The ideal car if you want to own a running restoration with many original factory fitted features
About this car: 1979 MGB Roadster, low owners and Ivor Searle engine (NOW SOLD)
This 1979 MGB Roadster has had three owners from new and has evidence of significant waxoil protection over many years. The engine is a reconditioned Ivor Searle unit which, from information they supplied to us, was built in late 2001. It runs with good oil pressure and no nasty noises. Very good leather seats and good quality carpets make the interior a nice place to be. The hood will probably need replacing soon and there are some cosmetic paint issues, the worst being the boot lid. This is reflected in the price for a very solid useable classic.
